"If you were given the chance to spend one day in a fictional world (from a book), which book would it be from and what would that place be?"

I think I would have to say I would want to live in the Iron Fey series books.  I would love to spend my days with Puck and Ash, hanging out with Faeries!!

1. I can only read 1 book at a time or I get the storeys all mixed up in my head.

2. I am a little obsessed with boxers, I stalk cafe press trying to find new stuff I can get proclaiming that I am a proud boxer puppy mommy

3. I have recently become addicted to Twitter, I never knew it was so much fun and that it could be such a great way to meet people.

4. I have a love/hate relationship with zombies...I love to shoot them on my xbox but feel a little worried that the CDC has a zombie apocalypse page hehe I wouldn't know what to do if zombies rose other than scream and hide.

5. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Secret Life of the American Teenager even though my boyfriend thinks that I might be a little crazy I don't care lol

My Thoughts...

I really really enjoyed this book.  It was suspenseful, a little frightening, tense, and heartfelt.  To find another person on the internet that looks just like you would be very confusing, but to see your "twin" involved in an apparent snuff film must be down right disturbing.  So you find a name for this person and contact them only to find out that you really are probably long lost twins!  You make plans to meet but while waiting you are found by your long lost twins friends and are mistaken for her.  Going along pretending to be her in hopes that there is a mistake and will meet up with her at some point.  Only to find out that your long lost twin is dead and her murder wants you to live her life.  Learning as you go about the girl you are now suppose to be, and not liking everything you find out.  The more you learn the more you find out that everyone around you might have killed your sister and be threatening to you.  I loved how nothing happened quite like I expected it to.  I give this one 5 stars and hope that all of you give it a try!

Again this cover is just so beautiful!! and the description sounds so awesome and creepy I can't wait!

Review: Entwined - Heather Dixon

My Thoughts...

I always loved the story of the 12 dancing princesses.  This re-telling is no exception.  I truley felt for the girls who had just lost there mother and also there father to grief and war.  They felt so alone and unloved by there father.  The descriptions of the pavilion and the dances were great!  I really enjoyed the part where the King returns from war.  The girls start off so cold towards him, but after he publishes the riddle of the girls it is great watching them all slowly heal and grow closer.  I think I most adored the love interests.  It was all done so well, and cleanly and proper!  I really felt like the characters danced off the page (hehe did you see what I did there?)  Reading this was like watching a fairy tale come to life in my head.  If you are a fan of fairy tale re-tellings, or just a fan of a great book then this is a must read.  I am giving this one 5 stars!

Review: The Unidentified - Rae Mariz

It’s all a part of the Game; the alternative education system designed to use the addictive kick from video games to encourage academic learning. Everyday, a captive audience of students ages 13-17 enter the nationwide chain store-like Game locations to play.

When a group calling themselves The Unidentified simulates a suicide to protest the power structure of their school, Kid’s investigation into their pranks attracts unwanted attention from the sponsors. As Kid finds out she doesn't have rights to her ideas, her privacy, or identity, she and her friends look for a way to revolt in a place where all acts of rebellion are just spun into the next new ad campaign.

My Thoughts...

I have heard some mixed reviews about this book, but I am so glad I gave it a chance. I really enjoyed this story, and our main character Kid. She seemed so happy to just have her few friends and exist in the middle of the pack, all until her life gets turned upside down, and side ways. I loved her friendship with Mikey I thought he was a great character and a good friend to Kid. I wasn't a huge fan of Ari, I knew girls like her and high school and I never really got along with people like her. I thought the idea of "the game" was pretty awesome, I'm sure that there are some people that would benefit from a system like that for learning. I also kinda liked the sponsor concept. I do however see the message that the unidentified tried to send. I really want to continue gushing here but I don't want to give away anything because my favorite thing about this book had to be that I didn't always know where it was going. I thought I had some things figured out just to find out a little while later I was wrong. I give this one 4 stars and I really hope that any of you who havent' give it a try do!
